1. What the Service Is
1Go.vn is a link-shortening service. You create short links that point to a destination address of your choice, associate those links with a shared domain or a custom domain, create QR codes, and view visit statistics.
The Service consists of the following parts:
- the landing page at 1go.vn;
- the management application (dashboard) and login at app.1go.vn;
- the API at api.1go.vn, the MCP server at mcp.1go.vn, and the 1go command-line tool (CLI);
- documentation at docs.1go.vn;
- the shared short domains s.1go.vn and go.1go.vn, together with any custom domains you connect.
There are currently no paid plans. If paid plans are introduced later, additional terms will be published before they apply.
2. Accounts and Vouchers
- Registration is currently invitation-only: you need a valid voucher or an invitation to another person's workspace. We may reject or revoke vouchers.
- You provide accurate information and update it when it changes. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to represent that organization.
- You log in using a verification code sent by email, a Google account (if you choose), or a passkey. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication.
- You are responsible for all activity in your account and must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We may set limits on the number of workspaces, members, links, domains, API keys, and request rates. Current limits are available in the application and the API documentation.
- When you register, you must tick the box to agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy; this box is never pre-ticked. We record the version you agreed to and the time of consent (UTC).
3. Acceptable Use
You must not use 1Go.vn for fraud, malware, spam, impersonation, illegal content, or to abuse the platform. The full list, how we remove links, how to report, and how to appeal are set out in the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You are responsible for the destination address, title, and all content to which your link leads. Do not place another person's personal data in a destination address (for example, in query parameters) unless you have a lawful basis to do so.
4. Links, QR Codes, and Domains
- Your links and content. You retain all rights to the destination address, title, and content you submit. You grant us the right to process them to the extent necessary to operate the Service, perform safety checks, and comply with law.
- Short link addresses. A short address (a domain plus a path) exists in the Service only for as long as the link remains active. Some paths are reserved for the system and are unavailable for use.
- QR codes. A QR code points to the short link and does not contain the destination address. If a link is deleted, expires, is blocked, or the domain stops working, any printed or issued QR code will also stop redirecting to the destination. Consider this before printing QR codes in bulk.
- Deleted links. A deleted link can be restored within 7 days; after that, it is permanently deleted and the short address may be reissued.
- Shared domains s.1go.vn and go.1go.vn. These are our domains, used by multiple customers. You do not own these domains; we may block a link on them under the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Custom domains. You may only connect domains that you actually control. For domains outside our system, you configure a CNAME record pointing to cname.1go.vn and a TXT record named _1go-challenge prefixed to your domain, in accordance with the instructions in the application, to prove control. We may remove a domain if you lose control or if the domain is used for an improper purpose. You are responsible for your DNS records and domain costs.
- Automated safety checks. We send the destination address of a new or recently edited link to Google Web Risk for checking, and may hold links in a new workspace for up to 1 hour before serving them. Results may be wrong; blocking a link is not a legal determination about the content. See the Acceptable Use Policy for details.
5. Bio Pages and Subdomains
- What a bio page is. You can create a personal profile or business introduction page displayed under a subdomain in the form [name].1go.vn or on a custom domain you connect. A bio page lets you arrange content blocks, links, images, videos, digital business cards, QR codes, and interactive tools.
- Registering and reserving bio names. The selection, reservation, renaming, or revocation of bio names is governed by the Bio Name Policy. Bio names are not property owned by you; we may refuse, reserve, or revoke names that infringe trademarks, impersonate, or are fraudulent.
- Content responsibility. You bear full legal responsibility for the information, images, links, products, and services displayed on your bio page. You must not include prohibited content on the page under the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Automated review and approval hold. We apply automated checks to text, display names, and links on bio pages. Pages that appear to match protected trademarks or contain sensitive keywords will be placed in a review queue before public publication.
- Sales and data collection. When you enable features for receiving VietQR donations, selling digital products, scheduling, or forms that collect prospect information, you must comply with the Creator Policy. 1Go provides technology solutions, does not hold payment funds, and does not charge transaction fees.
- No-advertising commitment and data export. All bio pages are subject to the Platform Guarantees: no third-party advertising is inserted, data export is available at any time, and if the service is discontinued, it will remain operational for at least 6 months from the date the notice is sent.
6. Data and Statistics
We process personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Summary of statistics on visits to your links: we do not store visitors' IP addresses; we store only approximate information such as country, city, carrier, device type, and an anonymous identifier that changes daily; records of each visit are retained for 90 days.
Statistics are estimates for link management purposes. Bot traffic may be flagged and is not always accurately distinguished. The "unique visitors" figure is meaningful only within each day.
When you put another person's personal data into the Service (for example, in a destination address, workspace name, or invitation), you ensure that you have a lawful basis to do so.
7. API Keys, MCP, and CLI
The API, MCP server, and CLI act with the permissions of the account or key you use. Therefore:
- Keep API keys (in the form 1go_live_...) and login tokens confidential; set the minimum necessary permission scope and domain allowlist; revoke them immediately if you suspect exposure.
- We store keys only in hashed form, so we cannot recover a key you have lost; you will need to create a new key.
- You are responsible for all actions performed using your keys and tokens, including through third-party tools or AI assistants that you allow to connect via MCP or OAuth. Check the permissions granted on the consent screen before agreeing.
- The API and the above tools have rate limits. You must not use them to bypass limits, scan, or overload the system.
- The API, MCP, and CLI interfaces may change; changes are announced in the documentation and changelog.
8. Suspension and Termination
- You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by emailing [email protected]. The processing period is set out in the Privacy Policy.
- We may block links, block domains, suspend workspaces, disable API keys, or lock accounts if you violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or to protect visitors and the system. Where there is a high risk of harm, this may occur immediately without prior notice.
- You may appeal a blocking decision under the procedure in the Acceptable Use Policy.
- When an account or workspace is terminated, your links stop redirecting. Export any data you need to keep using the application, API, or CLI before requesting deletion.
9. Service Status and Limitation of Liability
- We strive to keep the Service stable and fast, but we do not guarantee any specific uptime or speed unless separately agreed in writing.
- The status page at status.1go.vn reflects operational status. We publish median latency (p50) in Vietnam only when there is a sufficient measurement sample; this is a measurement, not a commitment.
- The Service may be interrupted during maintenance, when infrastructure providers experience incidents, or due to events beyond our control. We will try to give notice in advance where possible.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for customers' destination content, or for indirect damages, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from use of or inability to use the Service, except in cases of our intentional or gross negligence or where exclusion is not permitted by law.
- Keep copies of your important data (link lists, destination addresses).
10. Intellectual Property
The 1Go software, documentation, design, and trademarks belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for as long as you have a valid account. Notices of intellectual property infringement should be sent to [email protected].
11. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. When a change has legal significance, the version number (stated at the end of the page) is increased, and you will be asked to read and agree again before continuing to use the application. If you do not agree to the new version, you may request account deletion. Changes only to spelling or presentation do not require renewed consent.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. The parties will first seek to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation; if no agreement is reached, the dispute will be resolved by a competent authority in accordance with Vietnamese law.
